How it started
Nobody had done the work
The category looked crowded. It was not. It was occupied, which is a different thing. Nobody had understood what was actually missing, and nobody was willing to put in the work to build something educational and meaningful instead of something that merely sold.
What existed was scent, mixed. What did not exist was the craft: top, middle, and base notes, how a fragrance is genuinely constructed, why a blend collapses or holds. That knowledge was available to professionals and to almost nobody else without months of connecting the pieces. Closing that gap became the first product, and it is the same gap we have been working in since.
The Perfume Creation Kit is now on its third full redesign. Not a new label on an old box, but a different product each time, rebuilt around what people actually needed to understand.

Technology that points back at the table
Most popular hobbies now happen on a screen. We are not interested in competing with that, and we are not interested in asking anyone to put their phone away either.
Our kits use the phone as the instructor and the table as the workshop. Scan a code, get a guided lesson that adapts to how you learn, then put your hands back on the actual materials. The technology exists to make the physical thing better, not to replace it.
What we do not do
The clearest way to explain a company is often what it has decided against.
Permanent sales
If something is 40% off all year, the sale price was the price and the rest was theater. We discount rarely, and never deeply.
Luxury for its own sake
Our products cost what they cost because of what they do, not because of what owning them signals.

We are hobbyists before we are a company, which means we know the difference between a product idea and a real frustration. The second one is what we are after. Tell us what is missing in your hobby, and if it is worth building, we will build it, and you will be able to watch it happen.
