These are the requests that have moved beyond the idea stage and into development. For each one you can see the stage it has reached and what has happened most recently. We share stages rather than estimated dates, because manufacturing schedules shift and we would rather give you an accurate picture than a deadline we may not be able to meet.
Asked for by collectors who wanted a superior product.
The prototype came back as specified and passed review with no revisions needed. The leather wrap, spine magnetics and the magnetic closure are all performing as intended, and we are moving the product into production.
Nothing has reached this stage yet. The projects on the board are still in development, and this page will say so the day that changes.
How this works
Manufacturing timelines shift for reasons outside our control. Telling you the stage a project has reached gives you something accurate, where a projected date would only give you something hopeful.
When a prototype comes back wrong, we say so. Development rarely runs smoothly, and describing only the successes would give you a misleading picture of the work.
